Is Kava addictive?

Kava is not addictive, unlike alcohol, nicotine and other drugs (legal and non-legal) kava is known to actually have a “reverse tolerance’ effect. This means new users quite often need to drink more than regular kava drinkers to feel its effects.  We do acknowledge however, that any substance taken for recreational or medicinal purposes can be habit forming.
